What is Occupational Therapy?

Occupational therapy (OT) uses the science of child development and the power of play to help children build skills, confidence, and independence. In OT, "occupations" are the everyday activities that matter most to children and their families, such as playing, learning, making friends, and caring for themselves. OT's use evidence-based, family-centered approaches to help children thrive at home, school, and in their community.
