Hello,

I'm Kayla Cudmore (she/her)

I am a registered occupational therapist (OT) serving clients in Vancouver and across the Lower Mainland. I completed my Master of Occupational Therapy at the University of Queensland in Australia and am a member in good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia.

I bring experience across both private and public healthcare sectors, including early intervention, acute rehabilitation, and community-based private practice. My work spans physical, cognitive and mental health rehabilitation for clients ranging from infancy through to early adulthood.

I pride myself on providing truly collaborative, client and family-centred care to work as a team toward an individual's self-determined goals. For this reason, community-based rehabilitation has stolen my heart. With therapy coming to YOU, goals can be tackled with the use of your available tools, and in your child's familiar environments, whether that be home, daycare, playground, or community centre facilities.

I believe that play is a child’s most natural form of learning, and I use it intentionally to build engagement, motivation, and skill development across all areas of function. Through play, therapy becomes meaningful, enjoyable, and deeply functional; supporting children to build confidence and independence in a way that feels natural and fun.
